Dear Artists and Creatives,
We’re thrilled to invite you to Vantage: A Mixed Media Architecture Show, opening Thursday evening, December 12th, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Botanica Grove. This curated exhibition will explore the multifaceted ways architecture inspires creativity, bringing together a wide range of mixed media works. Join us for an evening celebrating art, community, and innovation.
About Vantage
This mixed media exhibition highlights diverse artistic interpretations of architectural themes. We welcome submissions across all mediums—painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, and more—that align with one or more of the following categories:
Minimalist: Simple compositions emphasizing clean lines and isolated forms.
Surrealist/Conceptual: Dreamlike works using reflections, manipulations, or imaginative perspectives.
Black and White: Timeless, high-contrast pieces highlighting architectural form.
Abstract: Explorations of patterns, angles, and textures offering fresh perspectives.
Atmospheric: Mood-driven pieces incorporating elements like fog, rain, or twilight.
Historic: Nostalgic representations capturing the texture and character of historic architecture.
Geometric: Symmetrical, patterned, and structural studies of architectural beauty.
Submission Guidelines
Artists may submit up to four images of their work, with one or two pieces selected for inclusion in the show. Accepted works must be ready for display and align with gallery standards for hanging or installation.
Submission Requirements: Images must be submitted as JPEGs with a minimum of 1000 pixels on the long side. Please include the title, dimensions, and medium for each piece.
Fee: $40 for accepted artists. This fee includes:
Installation and gallery costs.
Online promotion.
A complimentary zine featuring all participating artists’ work, available for pickup at the opening reception.

Open Call Deadline: Sunday, December 1st, 2024
Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024
Artwork Drop-Off: December 8th – December 10th, 2024
Opening Reception: Thursday, December 12th, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Closing Reception: Sunday, December 29th, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

By Appointment Only except for the Opening Night and Closing Night receptions.
Submission Process
Please email submissions to botanicagroveevents@gmail.com with the subject line “Vantage Submission.” Include the following:
Your name, contact information, and Instagram handle (if applicable).
A short description of your work and its connection to the architectural theme.
Up to four JPEG images, meeting the above specifications, with titles, dimensions, and mediums.
